This is the webbing that runs along the center of the belt body and passes through the buckle.

The ATLAS Belt offers the wearer an ultra low profile design ideal for use under duty belts, war belts and even backpack waist belts. Each profile is designed to be stiff enough to support daily wear of items like handgun holsters, magazine carriers and knife/tool pouches; while maintaining a certain level of flexibility that is important for overall comfort. The ATLAS belts have been designed to bridge the gap between common pants belts that are either too stiff or too soft, thus offering the end user more selection to dial in their daily carry needs.

The Standard Black body is a 4mm thick BioThane as the base body material. Biothane is a coated webbing with a hand similar to leather. The material is very popular and has been used for years in the equine industry as a low maintenance durable replacement for leather tack. This particular base material comes in a little more stiff than the standard Atlas Cobra bodies without being uncomfortable.

The SLIM Black body is a thinner 1.8mm BioThane, with the same 1″ webbing trim and layout as all the Atlas G-Hook models. The SLIM belts have been very popular with IWB and AIWB carry options, especially if the end user has found the stiffer belt options to be uncomfortable. We have customers happily daily carrying a full size double-stack pistol, spare magazine, and fixed blade knife all AIWB using a SLIM body belt. The new colors in the SLIM body are a little thicker but still a softer material than the standard BioThane.

While Cobra buckles have been used for belts for a while now, we designed a method to attach the buckle to the end of the belt body, rather than attaching it over the end of the belt. This method reduces the thickness of the belt at the front where it overlaps itself.

The captured tail will have a small section of hook material on the end of the 1” tail and a strip of loop material along the belt body to attach the tail to.

As always if you have any questions just drop us an email.
