How do I choose the correct size?

This is the webbing that runs along the center of the belt body and passes through the buckle.

The STANDARD body is designed to be stiff enough to support daily wear of items like handgun holsters, magazine carriers and knife/tool pouches; while maintaining a certain level of flexibility that is important for overall comfort. Designed to bridge the gap between common pants belts that are either too stiff or too soft, thus offering the end user more selection to dial in their daily carry needs.

The SLIM body option is the same design as the renowned Standard Atlas G-Hook belt but in a softer, slimmer design. The stiff scuba webbing core has been left out and replaced with a thin flexible layer. Ideal for IWB and AIWB carry, or use under a backpack waist belt, climbing harness or duty belt.

Feedback from users who find overly stiff belts uncomfortable has been excellent and the original design grew from custom requests. Women who carry IWB have given especially positive feedback to the SLIM body style.

While Cobra buckles have been used for belts for a while now, we designed a method to attach the buckle to the end of the belt body, rather than attaching it over the end of the belt. This method reduces the thickness of the belt at the front where it overlaps itself.

The captured tail will have a small section of hook material on the end of the 1” tail and a strip of loop material along the belt body to attach the tail to.

2 reviews for 1.5″ Atlas Cobra Belt

  1. Gary (verified owner)

I bought the 1.5in slim ACB and it’s by far the best gunbelt I own in terms of comfort and ease of use. I have a lot of rigger belts and belts with other buckles and leather and nylon and other materials, but this setup is blowing them away. Really love the design and the customer service was outstanding!

Bought a black 1.5″ Atlas Cobra belt many ages ago. I had worn that belt every single day for years straight, a lot of sweat and physical hustle and bustle at work. The velcro is still strong and other than slight edge wearing on the cobra buckle itself, the whole belt feels like new.
Then bought another ranger green belt to treat myself a few years ago. Same story, these belts will probably outlast you.
